hi lindsay. i just switched off covuto because they were all arguing again. i got on line and found this blog, though i'm not much on using them. you sound like you'd listen...
i would like your thoughts on the idea of a direct payment to each american citizen, over the age of 18, with a valid social security card. i've heard several ideas like this and they sound good to me. i think it would be a direct way to jumpstart the economy. todays figure was 15k. the last figure i heard was 200k, after a 30% tax. that's per- person. todays figure was put forth by larry winget. i don't know who he is, but he sounded famous or something. i'm against giving money to big, mismanaged companies.
so you know a bit about us, we're married, my wife is eileen. 12yrs now. we carry little credit card debt, we always pay at least 200 on principle on the mortage. we have 30yr fixed at 5.75. are cars are paid for, are kids are out of college. everyone works. we never take crazy vacations, we'er pretty normal is my point here, so i'm not looking for a fight, just another level headed opinion. thanks for your time. chris.
